Brian Minnatee was a loyal member of the Kean University community for 35 years. He began his career working in Exceptional Educational Opportunities (EEO), eventually transferring to the Central Data Processing Center, and, lastly, working for Pre-Enrollment Services.
Brian was a great person with a beautiful soul, coming to work with a positive attitude and greeting everyone with a smile. In his spare time, Brian played volleyball and enjoyed going to New York City every weekend.
His Kean co-workers were his family. Brian cared so much about his time at Kean University, that during the pandemic, he preferred coming to work in person, while others chose to work from home. One of the things Brian was most proud of was the fact that he was working toward getting his degree. Unfortunately, he passed on May 9, 2022, before he was able to complete it.
In remembrance of Brian, we are asking for donations to be made in his memory towards the general annual scholarship fund. Our hope is that you share our enthusiasm for this effort and will consider making a special gift of at least $35.00, or more, in honor of Brian’s 35 years of service at Kean University. All gifts will help to support this important scholarship that will continue to help students, like Brian, pursue a world-class Kean education.
On behalf of all of Brian's friends and co-workers, thank you for your consideration.
